ISLAMABAD, Dec 06 (APP):Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) on Friday clarified that the recent fire incident did not occur within the boundaries of the Margalla Hills National Park.
According to the IWMB spokesperson, the fire broke out on private land adjacent to the park.
Using GPS coordinates, IWMB officials identified the exact location of the blaze. They have been actively monitoring the situation and are currently stationed along the border adjoining the national park to ensure no further spread.
The spokesperson assured that IWMB is keeping a close watch on the situation to protect the national park’s ecosystem.
